Current transformers of type TCBP… (hereinafter referred to as transformers) belong to bushing-type transformers without a primary winding and are intended for installation in oil-filled power transformers, autotransformers, reactors, and circuit breakers. The transformers are designed to transmit measurement signals to metering, protection, and control devices, and to provide insulation of the equipment connected to the secondary windings from high voltage.

The transformers относятся to equipment with the highest system voltage (Um) of 0.72 kV; at the same time, they may be installed on bushings of any voltage class, provided that the bushing design allows their installation, and the main insulation between the bushing conductor and the transformer secondary winding is ensured by the bushing’s own insulation.

The transformers are intended for operation under the following conditions:

  • ambient medium – transformer oil;

  • upper operating oil temperature − plus 115 °C;

  • lower operating oil temperature − minus 60 °C;

  • altitude above sea level − not more than 1000 m;

  • installation position of the transformers – any.
